Stacy - Hahaha! I don't think anyone has ever thanked me for lowering their expectations but I'm glad to help!

Hmmmmm... I went ahead and got these books as everyone was going on and on about them and then I come across your review. But I suspect I'll get sucked in even if I don't LOVE it (like I did with the whole Hunger Games brouhaha). And if not, I'm not obligated to read them all.

I think I'm in the same boat with you on this. It was interesting enough, but I didn't quite think it lived up to all the hype it seems to get. I enjoyed the book enough to finish it, but not enough to want to run out and grab the next in the series. But then, if the next crossed my path, I'd probably grab it just the same. LOL.

The reputation precedes these books that is for sure. I've heard the first two are good, then it falters. I have yet to take the plunge. But it sounds like a great read for vacation!
