I like Charlaine Harris and all, but all of her series use the "virginal girl suddenly begins to drive men crazy with desire" device to some degree. Beware of Aurora Teagarden, that's all I'm saying.

I think it's funny (but not in a laugh-out-loud kind of way) how Sookie went 26 years without having someone really be interested in her (JD doesn't count), and then as soon as she has a boyfriend, every supernatural creature in a thirty mile radius wants her body. Poor Sookie. ;)
